Weeknight Spaghetti with Jarred Marinara
Weeknight Spaghetti with Jarred Marinara is Italian home cooking, eaten at dinner. On the plate it is the dish at the centre. Below is what usually sits beside it, what it does and does not contain, and what else to cook once you have made it.
Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 24 oz jarred marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
How to cook it
- Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, then drain, reserving a splash of pasta water.
- Meanwhile warm the jarred marinara in a saucepan.
- Toss the drained spaghetti with the marinara and olive oil, loosening with pasta water if needed.
- Divide among bowls and top with parmesan.
