Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Dinejot for using the app. By creating a household or signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Dinejot.
Using Dinejot
You need to be at least 18 years old to run a household. One person manages each household, and family members join with an invite code. You are responsible for the people you invite and for keeping your sign in secure.
Subscriptions and billing
Dinejot offers Individual and Family subscriptions, billed weekly or yearly. You buy and manage your subscription through the App Store or Google Play, and payment is charged to that store account. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Free trial
The Individual yearly and Family yearly plans may include a 3 day free trial. The weekly plans do not include a trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and the store charges you. You can cancel during the trial from your store settings to avoid the charge.
Acceptable use
Dinejot is for planning your household's meals. Please do not misuse it: no unlawful content, no harassment, and no attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service. The household content you create is yours, and you are responsible for it.
Community and trending content
When you choose to share a cooked meal, it may appear on the trending board that shows what families are cooking. We may hide or remove any shared content that does not belong there, and you can reach us through the support page about anything that concerns you. Keep what you share friendly and appropriate.
No medical advice
Dinejot's diet and health features help you shape meal plans. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for professional care. Always talk with your doctor about allergies and health conditions.
Disclaimers
Dinejot is provided as is and as available. We work hard to keep allergy filters and plans accurate, but we cannot promise the app will be error free or uninterrupted. You are responsible for checking ingredients and labels before anyone with an allergy eats.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dinejot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Dinejot and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we need to protect the service or other families. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as disclaimers and limits on liability, continue after your account ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app grows. When we do, we will update this page and move the effective date. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
