Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 10 oz paneer
  • 1 onion
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt

How to cook it

  1. Knead the flour with salt, a spoon of ghee, and water into a soft dough and rest it 15 minutes.
  2. Mix the grated paneer with the finely chopped onion, green chilies, cilantro, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt.
  3. Roll a dough ball, fill it with the paneer mixture, seal, and roll out gently into a paratha.
  4. Cook on a hot griddle with ghee on both sides until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Repeat and serve hot.
