Ingredients

  • 2 cucumber
  • 1 cup plain curd
  • 1/3 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1 green chili
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp neutral oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

How to cook it

  1. Mix the chopped cucumber with the whisked curd, crushed roasted peanuts, finely chopped green chili, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Heat the oil in a small pan, add the mustard and cumin seeds, and let them crackle.
  3. Pour the tempering over the salad and mix gently.
  4. Garnish with cilantro and serve chilled alongside the thali.
